Hello
again from the Presidents Corner.
I
must first apologize for not updating our website sooner and will try to do better
in the future.
After a break-in suffered in January, the District has updated and improved the
security system at the facilities. We do appreciate any information or contact
if any suspicious person(s) or activities are observed around the facilities or
storage tanks.
The Safe Drinking Water Revolving Loan by the Oregon Economic and Community Development
Department has been accepted and approved by the Board. The engineers are presently
drawing up the plans and schedules for the upcoming Inter-Tie Project.
The new Oregon Public Contractors Rules and Proceedings have been approved and
adopted by the Board.
Good news for Lower Chenowith Area water patrons After a presentation to
the Board from Mrs. Norma Allen and discussions with the Manager, the Board took
action to eliminate the debt service additional charge for the patrons of that
area, effective July 1, 2005.
As the weather warms up and the ground surface becomes dry, please note any green
or wet areas that appear in unusual locations such as road ways or non-irrigated
areas. Please give the office a call and it will be checked to determine if a
water leak has developed.
Thank
you,
Thomas
